Happy to announce, the release concert for my new CD GOL is on Saturday, March 17th at the legendary MInton's Playhouse in New York City, where Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie and Lester Young played, among other kings.
I will be playing with a strong cast: Gabriel Guerrero on piano, John Benitez on bass and Juan Felipe Mayorga on drums.
The venue is historical and unique. And by the way, food is great!

Known for his splendid tonalities and melodically outstanding charts, the Argentinian native demonstrates his superb skills on alto, tenor and soprano saxes, while employing a wide range of Panamerican references, from straight ahead to tango to candombe to samba to mambo.

His first CD as a leader “El Angel“, released in 1999 under the Song-o-saurus label received rave reviews and features guest appearances by Gato Barbieri,Claudio Roditti, Alex Acuña and Paquito D’Rivera

Just to announce the upcoming performances and the release of a new video of the song "Nobody's Fault But My Own" by Beck, that will be included in my new album to be released soon.
Recorded in June of last year with an amazing band at Bacque Becording in New Jersey, owned by great Argentine recording engineer Luis Bacque.
The wonderful Antonio Sanchez on drums (Pat Metheny,Gary Burton, Oscar winning movie Birdman). John Benitez, one of the hottest bassists on the scene. His performances range from Tito Puente to Chick Corea. The Argentinean country fellow man Leo Genovese, an amazing pianist and keyboardist who performed with Esperanza Spalding, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter.
And me, Oscar Feldman on Alto Sax.
